初めてThe Neighbourhoodの音を聞いたとき、久々になんだかしっくり来た。
去年の冬のある日、退屈すぎてだらだらネットサーフィンしてたときだった。
いつもチェックしてるお気に入りのミュージックブログに寄って、新しいバンドを聞きあさってたら、経歴がよくわかんないバンドを見つけた。
とりあえず興味がわいたので、サウンドクラウドの再生ボタンをクリックして、彼らの曲を聴いてみた。
それが今となって有名な夏のアンセムソングSweater Weatherだった。
When I heard the sound of The Neighbourhood for the first time, I felt good. I felt right. I felt that I found the exact piece of puzzle in the pile of fake ones.

When I heard the sound of The Neighbourhood for the first time, I felt good. I felt right. I felt that I found the exact piece of puzzle in the pile of fake ones.
I still remember the moment that I found them on the internet. It was the last winter. I didn't have anything to do, and just web surfing for hours and hours. And I visited my favorite music blog and read the short bio about them and click the play button of their famous summer anthem, "Sweater Weather."
次の瞬間には、FacebookやらTwitterにシェアしまくり、遠くフランスの奥地にいる彼氏に即メールした。その日から、あたしと彼、ジェレミーはの曲を文字通り何千回も毎日毎日飽きずに聞き入っている。
それから半年、そのバンドはどんどん大きくなっていった。世界的に有名な野外フェス、コーチェラに出演するは、全米のトークショーにがんがんでるは、スター街道まっしぐら。ラジオでは毎日彼らの曲が流れてる。は今世界で一番勢いのあるバンドの一つになった。
The comfortable intro with beats of drum, the sugar-and-spicy kinda voice, true Californian tastes sound. I fell in love with all the aspects that create the song.
In the next second, I was sharing their music on Facebook, Twitter, and even text to my boyfriend who lives in France which is far far away.
Since the day, me and my boyfriend have been listening to their music more than thousands times (Seriously, literally, EVERY SINGLE DAY)
It's been more than a half of year, they are getting bigger and bigger. They played at world-famous-Coachella, they played for Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien, and so on... People listen to their songs on radios. They are definitely one of the powerful bands in the world now.
In June, I had this huge depression and cried for hundred times for no reasons.
I got pissed easily and almost yelling such heartless things to my dearest boyfriend.
One day, when I was so exhausted, he told me that he had a big surprise for me. Actually, he wanted to keep it secret till the last minute but since I was in a such mood so he didn't really have choices.
He told me that, he bought the tickets.
Of the Neighbourhood show, the sold out ones.
The Sold out ones that I had missed the chance to buy them!
For me and my girl, Evelyn.
I was so speechless.
六月、あたしはなんだかよく気がはれなくて、軽い鬱になりかかってた。
すぐキレルし、心ないことを最愛の彼氏にはいたりして迷惑をかけていた。
ある日、あたしが学校から帰って心身ともにがっつり疲れてたときに、彼があたしにサプライズを用意していた。本当は最後まで秘密にしておきたかったらしいけど、あたしの機嫌があまりに悪いので選択のよちはなかったらしい。
彼は、あたしとあたしの友達エヴァリンにのチケットを用意してくれてた。
ただのチケットじゃない。
発売日に即売り切れになったやつ！
あたしが買おうとして間に合わなかったやつだった。

どれくらい楽しかったかわかる？
I felt so blessed to be in there.
It was one of the best ones I've ever been,
I wish I could show it to my boyfriend Jeremy, I wish I could...
And god heard me.
Jeremy is visiting me in August and the Neighbourhood is coming back to Fonda Theatre as well!
We already got the tickets.
We are so ready,
so so ready.
Can't wait for the next radness.
幸せすぎた。
ショーはすごい盛り上がりを見せて、
あたしもエヴァリンも大はしゃぎ。
だけど、彼と行きたかった。
行きたかったのに。。。
と思ったら、どうやら神様はあたしの願いをきいてくれたらしい。
ジェレミーがフランスからあたしを訪ねにくる８月、なんと彼らもハリウッドに戻ってくるってそのショーの最中に発表が！
もちろん、あたしたちは今度はちゃんと完売前にゲットした。（今は、もう売り切れ）
８月が待ち遠しくてたまらない。
By the way, the taco stand at Venice/ La Brea is the best....
